Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. She grew up on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in several performances on stage, such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. She was Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport for the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the ABC drama series Revenge in two episodes. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following a guest episode in the very first season of the third. On the show Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Four of her older brothers were also in the family including twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley was not a walker, but she would dance. When she was two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dancing at the age of. Ashley was a competitive dancer throughout the various categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and the acrobatics. Top soloists at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
