Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was in South London. Her mother and father were both English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stage productions during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. In the wake of that film's success her role was Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. She played Bambi on The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the title character in How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport in ABC's Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she was a guest in the opening episode of season 3. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was born into a big family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the winter and summer months. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not have the ability to walk but she was able to dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she took up Baby Ballet and fell in love. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley was a competitor in tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention some.
