Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was 14 years old. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her professional debut at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to build on her victory and subsequently went on a 3 fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and beat her for a 1st-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen dominated McGill by wrestling her to the ground to finish her off with the third round TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen took on Hoy and defeated her after the second round with a TKO. At Invicta FC 21, she had her final match for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. In Aspen's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 where she was up against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina through a pound and pound victory in 2nd round. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance on the night. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were unbeatable fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC which was broadcast on ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
