Born on March 25, 1970, she is a Canadian actress. Matchett started her acting career in Ontario when she relocated from the town of Spalding. In the mid-nineties she began her acting career with Canadian television. Later, she transferred to America. United States and starred in the series The Secrets of Nero Wolfe Invasion 24 Hours Studio 60 which aired on the Sunset Strip Ambulance Earth. This was The Last Conflict. She was awarded the Gemini Award in 2001 for her performance as an Canadian actress on The Department of Wet Cases. For several seasons she was the former wife of the protagonist in the TV series Impact. Since 2010 she has played the role of Joan Campbell in the TV series Covert Operations. The actress starred on the large screen in 2002's Canadian movie Cube 2. The film also featured her in Angel Eyes Boys with Broomsticks The Tree of Life, Boys with Broomsticks, and Hypercube.
